Love, Mom and Dad

Day 6 and 7

Day 6 was from a low angle. It's of Wesley. Yesterday I was snapping some nine month pictures of the little dude. I put him in the grass and he hated it. He didn't want to touch it.

Day 7 was a fruit. I snapped this picture from my sisters garden. Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable? Technically a fruit.

Day 4 and 5

Day 4 was something green.

Zucchini from my dinner. It was delicious.

Day 5 was a shot from a high angle. I decided to do wesley's awesome eyelashes.

If only my eyelashes were that long.

Day 3

Clouds was today's challenge.

Clouds of smoke.

30 Day Photography Challenge

My friend Ashley, from Ashley Ann Photography (see her link on the side), and I decided we were going to do this 30 Day photography challenge I saw on pinterest. I'll post hopefully every day or every other day. This will give us the opportunity to think out of the box and explore our cameras, settings, and new things over the next month.

Here is the challenge.

Day One: Self Portrait: I decided to include Wesley. I am not so photogenic. I set the timer and this is what i got. I thought it was a sweet picture. Oh. I love that boy.

Day Two: What I wore today. Like i said i am not photogenic in the least bit. So i decided to just take a picture of what i wore. Sandals and shirt from kohls, simple capris from target.

8 Months!

Wesley Kristofer,

You are now eight months old! Time is flying by way too fast. Just stay little please. We love you so much. You're the sweetest, happiest little baby. You love your dad so much, you bust into tears every time he leaves a room. It's pretty sad. You're still a great sleeper. Although, you are becoming kind of shy. You get this kind of freaked out look when a stranger picks you up. Hopefully that phase doesn't last long. You're getting pretty big too, eighteen month clothes seem to be fit you pretty well these days. Any thing that is smaller than 12 months, forget about it.

Some firsts-
1. His first tooth popped through on your eight month birthday!!
2. Attended your first wedding reception-Aunt Carrie got married to Uncle Lee.
3. Stayed your first night away from your parents with Grandma Thurgood
4. You like to stand up holding onto furniture now.
5. Tried baby yogurt, table food, bread, sherbet ice cream, different pastas, string cheese, fruit loops, meatballs, and many others I am sure.
6. You babble constantly, and like to say dada a lot. You will only say mama if you are in your crib crying.
7. You can get up on your hand and knees and move backwards pretty well, now you need to move forward.
8. You giggle out loud at some of the funniest things, and everyone else can't help but laugh when you let your little chuckle.
9. You like to feed yourself finger foods now. It is very messy though.

We love you little guy. You are the best thing that has ever happened to us. We can't wait to see what the next month brings! hopefully some crawling and more teeth.

Love,
Mom and Dad
