11 Months

Mr. Wesley,

You are almost one! Please stop growing. I would really enjoy you staying small forever. You change so fast. Everyday is something new. You get into everything, you throw tantrums, you give kisses, and so much more. You are such a joy. Here are some firsts for this month:

1. We've been more adventurous with adding flavor to your food. you like bbq chicken. you have tried chinese food too.
2. you opened the door for the first time. scared me half to death.
3. you started throwing your paci out of your crib.
4. you were sick for a week straight. you threw up, had the runs, and were absolutely miserable. it was terrible.
5. you visited the salt lake temple, as well as many other sites in utah.
6. you can say juice, sign more on command, and wave.
7. if we give you a hair brush you put it to your head and try to brush your hair.
8. you really enjoy emptying out drawers, bags, and laundry baskets.
9. you can crawl on top of things about a foot off the ground.
10. you can successfully climb almost anything. you turn around and go feet first instead of head first.
11. you love fruit on the go in little squeeze packets.
12. sometimes you drink real milk.
13. you love to look at books, you pull them off your shelf, and flip through them.
14. you have five teeth. and it hurts when you bite.
15. you love to push buttons of any sort, and can succesfully turn on any tv when given a remote control.
13. you like to pretend to play the wii as well.
14. you threw a tantrun and are getting pretty good. you fling your self back and scream ( we dont' like this too much)

I am sure so much more has happened. We are planning your first birthday party now, and we are sure you will get spoiled. we love you, and we can't wait to celebrate your first year soon!!

Utah

Well we had a trip to Utah for my cousin Lindsey's wedding. We made a week trip out of it so wesley could meet everyone.

We did a Smith family side dinner, but i didn't get any pictures.

Our next adventure was the alpine slide with the Thurgoods. A lot of the family went down, and it was pretty fun. Kirsten, Dad, and Wesley stayed at the bottom. We also got to show Wesley and Kristofer Park City.

The next morning was Lindsey's wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a gorgeous bride, and we were glad to be there for this special day. She had a beautiful lunch reception at the Joseph Smith Building.

Later that day, we got to see BJ, Gina, and Kenley. We went to a Real Salt Lake Soccer game, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Wesley and Kenley liked to pick on each other and still each other's paci's. We wish they lived closer.

The Rest of our time was spent visiting with family and enjoying our little bit of vacation. WE loved seeing everyone, and Wesley loved all the attention.

10 Months- a little late

Well Mr Wesley,

you are really almost eleven months now, but the end of your tenth month was pretty busy. i just have to get this done before you turn eleven months!

oh your tenth month might have been my favorite so far. you are the light of our lives literally. we have no clue what we did before you came along. we just sit and watch you. you are still one of the most go with the flow babies ever. we can take you almost anywhere, except you are a little vocal so you can turn some heads.

some new things that happened during your tenth month here on earth!

1. you crawl everywhere, get into everything, and create havoc. i pick up after you all day long
2. you love juice boxes.
3. you rode your first airplane and were a champ. seriously. slept for half the first flight and just hung out for the rest of the time.
4. you figured out if you lowered yourself to the ground you could army crawl. your big head got in the way sometimes though.
5. you can say uh-oh. you enjoy throwing things on the floor so you can say that over and over.
6. you met all of your mom's extended family and were loved by all.
7. you learned how to go up stairs and not go down them so gracefully, you have mastered that now though.
8. you started to stick your finger up your nose.
9. you are in size four diapers. and mostly 18 month clohtes, some twelve month clothes still fit you as long as they don't have to snap between your legs. forget those.
10. you like to walk while holding onto mom and dads fingers, you get tired fast though and plop down to crawl.
11. you still enjoy to eat everything. you no longer eat any baby food, except for oatmeal in the morning. you eat whatever we are eating.
12. you still love your dad, you cry when he leaves and get so excited when you see him after a long or short absence.

we love you mr. wesley. we are so excited about the little personality that you are showing us more and more of everyday.
