Wesley Kristofer Driggers
Baby Wesley arrived on September 29th, 2010 at 2:42 a.m. after 12 hours of labor. He was 8 lbs. and 21 inches long. Healthy, Happy, and very Handsome.
T-Minus 10 Weeks
Time is getting close. As it gets closer, I just get bigger. The doctors says this little man is about a week ahead of his due date. We'll see when he decides to make his apperance. I'm not counting on a specific date. We've decided to name him
We've painted his room, and that's about it for now. We're working on refinishing the hardwood floors throughout the bedrooms now. Hopefully that will be done in a week. And we're adding a second bathroom, which won't be too much longer. Once all the house stuff is done we'll start setting up this little guys room. Hopefully he doesn't decide to come early.
I'll post pictures of it all when it's ready.

Happy Birthday!
Yesterday was sweet OLD Kristofer's Birthday. He is the big 25 now, that means our life insurance went up. How lame. But it was a good day. We didn't do anything fantastic, Kris really isn't about all of that. We opened a few presents, went to dinner, Institute, then came home and did homework! We're pretty exciting, I know. But that's the life of being married and being in school. This weekend we're going to the beach with some friends and my dad. That's a good way to get away and we'll say that's his birthday celebration.
It's been a while since we posted. Not much has happened. We love our house! We are always working on something when we find the time to do it. It's a work in progress! Hopefully one day I will get some pictures uploaded of it.
Thanksgiving was awesome, We got to eat two meals! Who doesn't love that! Being married is awesome, two meals, two families, two pumpkin pies! And two sets of left overs to bring home.
Christmas was even more awesome. We were definitely spoiled rotten. We got a grill, ladder, fire pit, and some tools from his parents! We have used and enjoyed all of them. My parents got us a Wii, Kris an IPOD, and me a sewing machine. There were also other things thrown in there by both parents, but those are the important ones. Kris's brother and sister-in-law came out, so we got to hang out with them. It was pretty fun. Carrie and I attempted to throw her a baby shower, it wasn't successful, one person showed up. Sorry we were failures Gina! It was still fun though.
We didn't do much to ring in the New Year. We snuck into our neighbors house, they were out of town, and watched the ball drop and sipped some sparkling cider. We were tired, so we went to bed.
We lead a pretty boring life. Homework, Work, and Hang out with friends. It's the life we love, and we wouldn't have it any other way though.

Too long
Well, it's been a while since I updated. Tons has been going on. It'll take a while to catch up. But here is the short and sweet version.
We have been hanging out with some awesome friends from our ward here. We haven't seen them this week though, it's been sad.
WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! We close in ten days, but they sellers are letting us move in early due to subleasing our apartment. As we speak, Kris, my wonderful FIL, the ever so wonderful ELDERS, and Chris (our new neighbor who we stalk) is moving everything in...
It's an older house, with a little work to do. But overall it's pretty sweet. It's three bedroom, one bath. But when we get that 8000 tax credit, we're going to add another bath. It's pretty awesome. It's hard to believe we are actually home owners :)
We have had tons of time to spend with our little nephews. Malachi just turned two this week, and Ethan is turning three towards the end of this month. They are coming down today, tomorrow they get to go the football game. OUr great friends from church gave us some tickets.
IT's almost Thanksgiving and Christmas! How exciting.
And my Sister in Law is having a baby girl next year. And we are so excited for her :) Yay GINA!!
I'll try to post pictures soon.
Toodles.

Daily Gems
I signed up through the church to have the different gems sent to me each day. If you haven't done that, you should go onto lds.org and do it. It's definitely a treat :) Today's was sweet. I thought I'd Share.

Joy in Our Lives

“How might we have joy in our lives, despite all that we may face? Again from the scriptures: ‘Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you.’”Thomas S. Monson, “Be of Good Cheer,” Ensign, May 2009, 89
Comcast Sucks!
Kris and I sit here, watching the Nebraska and Mizzou game on ESPN 360 on our 14 inch computer screen. We have a perfectly good (one left, that's a story for another time) T.V. sitting in front of us. We signed up for comcast on August 28th, and still do not have cable. We have had 9 appointments now in the last month and then some. We have a ton of idiots meander around our house only to conclude they can't figure it out. Well that is their job, they should be able to figure it out, um.. HELLLOOO that's what you do everyday. Well yesterday, yet another appointment, a gentleman came out to tell us in this wonderful homemade apartment we live in will cost hundreds of dollars to rewire and let us finally watch some TV. Blast. But not so easy, they now get to talk to our property managers (who are not so easy to work with either), our landlords, and the people who drywalled this lovely homemade unevenness we live in. So it may be even more weeks and weeks before we will be able to put this last good standing TV to use.
During the midst of us wanting and waiting to watch a college football game on TV, we had a small disaster of sorts. One night, late, Kris, Aaron, Anthony (his two best friends), and I were sitting in the living room. We were very lucky to have been given a huge 52 inch tv (the old projection screen kind). While Kris is sitting very close to the TV it sparks, smells like smokes, and is no longer working. But hey at least it was free and no one is hurt. We now have a 21inch TV sitting on two kitchen chairs as our entertainment center. Oh the joys of the newly wed life! We don't even watch movies, it's just too dissappointing...

Weekend Home
Kris and I had the opportunity to go home this past weekend and spend time with our families. It was my sister and dads birthday, the 15th and the 16th. We had a little barbecue with a few friends.
Friday night, my wonderful sister in law Carrie cut our hair and colored mine. It feels wonderful not to look like I have a mullet. Then my sister was house sitting, a huge house, so we stayed with her. Saturday morning, we woke up washed my car, went grocery shopping with my mom (she's the best, seriously), we also had Ethan and Malachi with us. We took them to Bridgestreet (an outdoor mall) and rode the carousal and played in the fountains. They had a blast. Then we did the birthday barbecue. My dad also got his new truck on Saturday, he traded in his clunker. It was a pretty good deal and he finally has a new truck. Then Sunday we went to church with Kris's family and hung out there.
It is so good to spend time with family. We love being home, it's just never quite long enough. Hopefully one day we will move back there :)
